There’s no option to connect to a chest belt. I understand that you can’t expect miracles from basic wrist measurement but it’s something that needs to be considered. I also measured my HR while sitting on a chair calmly and it jumped from 60 to 80 even though I did nothing at all. It usually is in a range that you would expect according to your current tempo but you can’t base your training upon that. While I have nothing to compare Bip with I feel like that HR measuring isn’t very precise. It’s a bit more complicated though and you never know if they’re going to block these apps or not (probably not but who knows). gpx files and upload them to Strava manually. But it’s actually not a problem as you can use Gadgetbridge and GPX Viewer apps to download. 6 months later, I’m going to switch to Garmin Forerunner 35 and here’s why.Īmazfit Bip doesn’t officially support any export options or upload to Strava. I didn’t want to invest in expensive watch like Garmin or Polar and Bip looked like an interesting alternative to me. I used to run with smartphone until then but I needed something smaller and something that would show me my actual pace. I bought Bip for $70 to track my running activities about 6 months ago. Maybe I missed something. But in my opinion it is the best smartwatch in the budget segment.TL DR Stay away from it unless you want to use it just as a basic smart watch or you’re on a really low budget. & It should be excluded from any battery saving app.In my experience I missed some notifications rarely in the last year.Alipay:Can't say much about it.Not available in my country. This are the features I use most. Vibrates watch at the given time.Call & message notification:Notifies well. But the mifit app must be granted proper notification access. It will give good readings if you have it in your wrists while you are asleep I guess.Alarm: Nice feature. I can't say much about it's accuracy.Once it gave me reading of sleep although it was lying on the table whole night. Heart rate monitor: Nearly accurate most of the time.Sleep tracking: Good feature.

It gave me a battery life of about 45 days when I somehow failed to exercise regularly.I got a battery life of 21-22 days when I exercised(running & cycling) for 2 hours each of the day.

#Amazfit bip review install
My watch experienced some good falls & scratches.Great build with ip68 certification.DISPLAY:The amazfit bip offers a good transflective color display in the budget segment. It has good sunlight visibility. The good thing I enjoyed is that the brighter the outside, the brighter your display looks.I have seen some color shifting, but it's ok with the value it provides. There are a few watchfaces available officially & one can install from a glut of skins which are available unofficially. I will walk you thoroughly about my experience in this post:BUILD QUALITY:Nice polycarbonate body with corning gorilla glass 3.The one problem is the belts which comes with the watch started wearing out after 2 or 3 months. Amazfit bip is the most affordable watch available in the market.Priced at around 5000 BDT.
